Are you ready to kayak or canoe the Cumberland? We are ready to make that happen. We will offer kayak and canoe rentals beginning May 6. Kayaks and canoes will launch at Helm’s Landing and take out at Winfrey’s Ferry. You will come to the store and be transported to the launch site. We will return you to the store upon completion of your float. Single person kayak rental is $35 and a 3 person canoe rental is $75. This is a 12 mile float that will take you past the historic Rockhouse. Shuttle service for those who desire will also be available. We can pack lunch and snacks for your float. Float days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with a launch time of 9:00am cst. Other days are available by reservation for parties of 8 or more. We are now accepting reservations.
